Welcome to Deep Reconstrution Workshop!

Deep learning, the mainstream of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning, has made great progresses in computer vision to exact multi-scale features from images. Since 2016, deep learning methods are being actively developed for tomography to reconstruct images of internal structures from their integrative features, such as line integrals and k-space samples. There are both excitements and challenges in deep learning-based tomographic reconstruction ("deep reconstruction"), involving robustness, generalizability, interpretability, and so on. The series of the Deep Reconstruction Workshop is focused on deep tomographic reconstruction with an emphasis on medical imaging. The past two workshops in 2017 and 2020 have been very successful. The third one will be hosted virtually from November 14 to 15, 2021, at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, MA, USA. You are welcome to join us for brainstorming and collaboration!
